Two Cards for Today



I was hopping these fresh, spring type cards, would bring on a change in the weather here.  Enough cold windy, rainy weather, bring on the sunny, bright and warm days.

Daisy card credits are
 Penny Black Die   51-008 bashful.
Stamps from Papertrey Ink,

Versafine Black ink and Crayola Markers were also used,
Grosgrain rayon ribbon from Michaels.

Also My Favorite Things dies were used.
 Water colored Poppy card credits are,
Downloaded digital image (Power Poppy?).

Tim Holtz distress inks were used, phrase from Papertrey Ink.

Hello Spring #243: Ink Blending Over Heat Embossing

Over at Papertrey Ink the   Make It Monday #243: Ink Blending Over Heat Embossing caught my eye and I remember doing this sometime ago.  So why not give it a go again.  Thank you Danielle Flanders for bring back an old favorite.  You can see her tutorial here. Here’s my entry for Challenge 243 Ink Blending over Heat Embossing.
 
Stamps used:
Papertrey Ink, Spring Woods Stamp Here  Die here . 
From the Garden Variety stamp set I used the Die for the vase, Die here.
 I use the Newsprint stamp for my background, here.
 
Other fun things added were:  Distress Inks, Sequins (5mm), and Glass Beads from The Robin’s Nest.

Easter Cards X 3

Playing Catch Up!  Gee… It’s been some time ago that I made these cards,
 maybe I should post them?

Easter Greetings card uses die’s from Papertrey Ink,
punch from Martha Stewart.

Wishing You a Joyous Easter card was stamped on printed vellum and colored on the back with Prisma Colored Pencils.  Cross image from Inkadinkado. 
Church die and verse are from Papertrey Ink.  Ivy die from Memory Box.

Last is this Watercolor Easter Card. 
Stamps are from Stampin' Up, verse from Papertrey Ink.

More Love Notes For Valentines Day


WE have another winter storm brewing for later this week.  So what better to cheer up a winter weary friend than to send a sunny little valentine
This one was made from some of the left over’s from the first valentine.
Vintage paper from Papertrey along with two new dies. (Quilted Die #0913, and #9 Tag (set of 2) #0506. 

Odds and Ends from my stash, flowers, hat pins, lace and ribbons.
