Fabric Flower

Drum roll please,….. This is number three of the cards from Paper Craft magazine. Using two Tim Holtz die’s and some Elmer’s Craft Bond, cotton fabric, seed pearls and distressed ink will get you started on making this card.

The embossing folder is from Sizzix, I have added small pearls to the center of the flowers. The inside is just repeating the front.

Enjoy the card. Stampin’ Hugs Vada

Houndstooth “Sing Anyway”.

As I said yesterday, I am trying to make a few of these quick cards from Paper Craft Magazine and Card Maker magazine.
This is card number two from Paper Craft magazine. With so much interest in Embossing Folder as of late I thought this was way too easy to pass up. I used Sahara Sand Versa Magic chalk ink to darken this plain tan cardstock with a touch of Jumbo Java chalk ink to highlight the cardstock, then embossed it and sanded off some of the color. Thus this faded, weathered look.

My die is from Tim Holtz and a Spellbinders die was used. Sing Anyway is from TAC. Printed paper is from Graphic 45, ribbon is from Michaels Dollar Spot. Thanks again, and if I get time tomorrow I’ll post a fabric flower card.

Until then Stampin’ Hugs Vada

Puzzle Layers from October/November 2010, Technique Junkies Newsletter.

I needed a quick card for Barb and when I saw this technique and came across this graphic, I knew it was perfect for Barb’s anniversary card. She bakes for a local bakery in town, needless to say “She Can Cook”.
The graphic show’s a little girl, who is grading cheese, she has a wonderful tossed salad on the table along with a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. Now how fun is this?

This is a graphic from Magic Moonlight. I only used one stamp from TAC on the background. What’s Cooking is a computer font. Thanks for stopping.
