Scraps And More Scraps

Today I’m posting two cards that uses small scraps of printed papers.
Do you save every little scrap of paper?
Well now it’s became such a mess that I don’t know if I’m coming or going!
So I thought this would be a start on cutting down on the mess.

Even the tissue flower is from scraps of packing tissue, and the paper button is scraps.

Using Spellbinders Classic Diamonds, (second smallest die) cut diamonds and place them on point, repeat until you fill a standard 5 ½ x 4 ¼ card front.
Trim off edges, trim to size and cut in half. Bingo two card fronts.
Verse is from A-Muse Studio’s.
For my second card, which was really fun and I haven’t used this corner punch sense my Scrapbooking days.
Punch four corners and set them on point, tape them on the back, cut four more, keep adding until you have the front done.
My verse is from Stampendous.
Thanks for your time today, have a great week-end.

Spring Card

There is something about “New Stuff”, that makes old stuff look great.
So today I’m posting a card that uses both, old and new.
I found two New Dies from Mr. Tim or “Alterations”.
Bird Branch SKU #657833
Tattered Flower Garland SKU #657824.
I’m using some old K & Company scraps from years ago, cut out the branch and stamped a small Hero Arts stamp on it, the using distress inks filled in my bird with color.
Inked the edges. Then cut out three sets of flowers and (left the in the cut cardstock) and rubbed my distress ink over them, then removed the flowers.
How lazy am I?
Using my new A-Muse Bird stamp for my bird nest, stamp it in light Grey ink,
added the verse in jet black ink.
Embossed the top corner with an old Sizzix folder.
Have a great day, hope your weather is far better than ours.
Thanks for stopping in.
Your comments are always appreciated.

Vacation Time.

New stamps from A-Muse Studio’s.
I love the old time (vintage) road signs.
Plus a full size map of the United States, how fun is this?
I’m using two sets here, “Wish You Were Here” SBSH012 has the full size map and “Vacationland” SHMD020, has the vintage road signs.
If you get a chance stop into A-Muse Studio’s and check them out.
