The Christmas Wish

This will be my last Christmas Card for the year. This card is also a Thank you to my Christmas Angel.   From far away came a package containing Frosted Film, thus this card.
I just love everything about this card. I’ve never had much luck with crackle medium, but this time I’m really pleased with the results, I hope some of the close pictures will show the small details.

I used another new die from Tim called Window Box frame and Elegant Flourishes. For the Frosted film I used the small poinsettia Movers and Shapers die. The black lattice is a die from Spellbinders.

The brick wall is an embossing folder also from Sizzix.
The two little girls, is a graphic from The Graphic Fairy.

I used packing material for the windows and frosted it with Matte Medium and Clear Rock Candy distress crackle paint.
Sounds like a lot of work, but really it wasn’t.
Have a Wonderful Christmas and May all Your Christmas Wishes Come True.
Until Next Year. Hugs

Stuffed?

Good Morning Ladies.
I hope everyone got to and from your Thanksgiving Holiday safely, and now we are feeling alittle Stuffed, just my Turkey’s.
Saturday Nov. 23 was Convention for us here in Wisconsin, and what a wonderful time it was. It was the first time for Mr. Holtz at our convention, let me tell you (It Was Standing Room Only) a packed house.   Tim mesmerized the entire audience with his talent, quick puns, and stamina, never once did I see him leave for potty break, lunch break or just to get up and stretch his legs.

Very Impressive!
After 2 hours of watching, laughing and being totally mesmerize my pocketbook was screaming so loud that I just had to do some shopping in the Stamper Anonymous booth. What a mess of (coat covered Fannies, Sharp pointy elbows), flying about-- why a girl could lose her life in that booth, but rest assured I stuck it out and stopped the screaming in my pocketbook!!!
Found almost to many things that ranked “Got To Haves”!
But then the winter can be long up here, and a girl must have a few new toys now and then.
Well on to my cards and two outstanding Tags.

Using the new Ivy Stencil (witch I just LOVE) here’s my tags.

Have a wonderful afternoon, thanks for putting up with me and this L O N G post.

Pocket Card with Tag

Last night was the end of Autumn for us here in Wisconsin, a nice chilly 22 degrees has ended our growing season. Now we look forward to Winter and all it’s Cold Glory.
The past few days has provided me with free time to play sooo. I’ve been working on some Thanksgiving Graphic’s as of late.
The little Pilgrim graphic is from
The Graphic Fairy and the post card came from Astrid's Artistic Efforts.  They were paired together to create this little graphic.
With Mementos and distress inks the post card was stamped and shaded. Stamp credits are Kitchen Sink Stamps and Crafty Secrets.

Small Provo Crafts Die was used to cut the leaves in the tag.

Enjoy this Thanksgiving pocket card, have a wonderful day.

To Nurture Your Soul

Good Morning Ladies, today I’m posting another Autumn card with a different twist to it.
Have you ever stamped on (Cornhusks)?
Yes dried cornhusk was used on the Elegant Flourishes die from Tim Holtz’s.
(See Close Up.)
It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered a new die,
and this is one that I couldn’t wait to try, well that was (AGES) ago.
This is a Spellbinders Die called Nobel Rectangle (S5-190).
I also used the long oval dies to frame the graphic
(from The Graphic Fairy).

Movers and Shapers Tattered die was used for the flower which was inked with distress inks. Printed papers from DCWV.

Stamp credits are TAC and Marks Finest Papers.
Thanks for stopping in this morning.

Vintage Christmas

I hated to start Christmas this early but after seeing the new
Christmas Stamps from Tim, I couldn’t wait to get started.
This Vintage Santa is from the Mini Holidays 5 (CMS 177).
The little lady is from The Graphic Fairy, the beautiful lace doily is new from Spellbinders. The Post card is from DCWV, printed papers from my scraps.
Small corner stamp un-known.
I used Cracked Glass technique on the little Lady graphic.
Plus pale gold leafing pen on the oval frame.
Distressed Inks along with Mementos inks.
Thanks again for your visit today. Hope you are enjoying the week-end,
we have a beautiful but chilly day here only 52 degrees but great for a football game!
