Distress Markers

After reading the article on FRIDAY FOCUS - Distress Markers at Frilly And Funkie I sat down to play with my new Distress Makers.
Came up with a Card and a Tag.
No laughing here, my apologies for the poor pictures today, due to the nonstop rain the pass few days these did not turn out as nice as they are in real life.
I used two different papers, one a white (Tag) and the other, a cream (Card).

Markers used were: Picket fence, Antique linen
Old paper, Stormy sky Faded jeans, Barn door and Black soot.
For the background I used my distress ink pads in Broken China and Stormy sky. I also used the new Tim Holtz embossing folder to match his new Americana Silhouettes CMS122 stamps.
Thank you for your time today, hope your week-end is sunny and dry.
Would love to see what you have done with these markers.

And I thought I was pretty clever with my playing colors! Very awesome use of colors and what a great patriotic card and tag! You rock, my dear! Had a wonderful weekend. My son and g-daughter came for a visit and it was a great time! Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs
