April Tim’s Tag

For all the details on Tim’s April Tag please click

As you can well see I didn’t come close, this is what happens when you don’t have all the new (Tim Goodies), but I did have this new die called Courtyard and it is sooo much fun to work with.

Tim did a wonderful Light background this time that I had to give it a try. (Love It).. Even though I covered up my water spots. Oops!

The die was cut twice , once using tissue tape (Sketchbook) over printed paper, then once from a manila tag. I inked the manila tag one and I used embossing paste on the tissue taped one.   Kinda Neat..

The top has a new die from Spellbinders, that was double cut from the left over manila tag, inked and sanded.

The black (Clock Die face) is Die-namics from My Favorite Things.
The Flowers are a Sizzix Die. All stamps from Tim Holtz.

I made (Hat Pins) from the cut out centers and stuck them in the flowers. If you look in the white box you can see them better.

Close up of the background, suckie-darn this background is way to fun.
It’s a must try, so pop over to
Tim’s Blog and join in on the fun.
I’m adding my tag in Tim’s April tag challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping in and sticking through all the pictures today.
I tend to get carried away at times…
Hugs

Vada, this is certainly Tim perfection and gorgeous! You need to share this with us at A Vintage Journey, as you certainly have captured Tim's style and I just love how you used his products! Hugs!

PS - I can't wait to start April's tag!

Hello Vada,
Wow... what an amazing Tag, I also love the Bg you have created, it has more texture and interest than Tim's.
You have substituted brilliantly with the die; it is dramatic and eye catching. Great work.
Smiles:)

This is a fabulous interpretation of Tim's tag, I just love the scroll at the top of the tag, the stamp set you have used and your background looks wonderful. I agree with Terry this would be a perfect addition to the AVJ challenge. xx

I couldn't give two hoots if you haven't got everything Tim used on his tag Vada. This version is absolutely superb and so inventive! Using the tissue tape on the patterned paper and embossing it works a treat and those flowers are gorgeous. LOVE it! Jenny x
